Welcome! The acronym CSA stands for many different things to many different people. For us it stands for Community, Sustainability, and Affordability. We welcome you to join with others in making a true connection with fresh, healthy and delicious food.
Our Spring/Summer share starts the last week in May and ends in mid-October for a total of 19 weeks. You may miss 1 week during the share period, which can be made up at the end. This allows for some vacation time. Other weeks you miss can be given to a friend or donated to the free Friday Night supper at the local church.
You can expect a large variety of the freshest vegetables possible throughout the share period. Each week our newsletter alerts you to what produce you can expect, which items are most perishable and therefore should be used first, and several recipes that use the produce that is available for that week. Our plan for 2013 is to ensure you are receiving plenty of the basics – carrots, lettuce, peas, beans, spinach, etc., as well as the familiar – broccoli, tomatoes, corn, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, as well as the most nutritious – greens! You will not be bored and you will not be overwhelmed – that is our goal!
We have three different share sizes to choose from.
All of our shares start with 4 set items each week. The remainder of your share is made up of items you choose based on your share size. The larger the share the more flexibility you have in designing your produce needs for the week.
Small Share $275 (~ $14/wk) for 4 set items and 1 choice (5 items total each week)
Medium Share $360 (~ $19/wk) for 4 set items and 3 choices (7 items total each week)
Large Share $550 (~ $28/wk) for 4 set items and 6 choices (10 items total each week)
We determine the 4 set items each week based on availability and popularity. There will be a minimum of 10 different items each week so for your choices you may choose something different or you may double up on items you really like. Items are made up of useable amounts that roughly equal $3 to $4 at the market.
Here are some examples of what different weeks might look like throughout the season with the first 4 items being the set items:
Week 1-Spinach, Radishes, Head Lettuce, Napa Cabbage, Pea Shoots, Pac Choi, Onions, Salad Turnips, Arugula, Cilantro, Salad Mix
Week 6-Peas, Potatoes, Summer Squash, Salad Mix, Raspberries, Spinach, Scallions, Head Lettuce, Chard, Radishes, Carrots, Fennel, Cucumbers
Week 14-Corn, Head Lettuce, Beans, Zucchini, Melon, Basil, Broccoli, Bok Choy, Cabbage, Salad Turnips, Scallions, Onions, Tomatoes, Garlic, Husk Cherries

Please contact us if you are interested in a delivered share option. We require a minimum of 5 share members at any one site for delivery. The share prices remain the same but we choose all items.
To reserve your spot please send a check for a $100 deposit with the remainder due by June 1. Payment plans are also available. Don’t delay as we only take a limited number of shares and they sell out every year.
Sign-up is easy! Just fill in the fields below and hit submit. The only thing you need to send is your CSA deposit and once we receive it you are in! You may pay your deposit using PayPal on our Pay On-Line page or send us a check.
I forgot to fill in preferred pick up day–we’re flexible at this point. You can put us where you want to balance out.
I heard you may offer a pick-up spot in Barre this summer instead of at the farm, do you know if this is possible?
