This happens every year. GREAT intentions to post something weekly during our CSA but it tends to fizz out…We do send a nice newsletter to our members every week but we’re not smart enough, (or hopefully it’s just a matter of time!) to link it to our website. So, a little late, but here’s the brief rundown of last week. And why are we bothering? We want folks to know how awesome our CSA is so they’ll sigh up next year -duh!
Week five the choices keep getting bigger. Besides the glorious flowers and herbs that are free for the taking (too numerous to mention) the coolers were stocked with radishes, assorted head lettuces, kale, Swiss chard, beets with tops, carrots, scallions, garlic scapes, shiitake mushrooms, strawberries and salad mix. We think the value and quality are outstanding and our share members agree.
And pizza choices included this yummy Shiitake Mushroom with Three Cheese Ricotta. Nicely done Blackmers.
